DRAPING & PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

H.R.T. maintains professional draping and boundaries throughout every massage session.

Breast tissue, genital/private areas, and the gluteal cleft will not be exposed or treated. Treatment of surrounding areas, including the gluteal muscles, hips, upper thighs, chest/pectoral muscles, or other appropriate areas, may be performed when clinically appropriate and with the client's knowledge and consent. Appropriate draping will be maintained at all times.

PRESSURE & COMFORT

Massage pressure and techniques will be adjusted according to the client's needs, goals, comfort level and therapist assessment.

Clients are encouraged to communicate throughout the session if pressure is uncomfortable, if an area becomes sensitive, or if they would like a technique modified or stopped.

CUPPING & OTHER TECHNIQUES

Depending on the client's goals and treatment needs, sessions may incorporate techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, dynamic cupping, cold stones/cryotherapy, and assisted stretching.

Additional techniques may require separate explanation and/or consent before being performed.

CONTRAINDICATIONS & REFERRAL

Massage therapy may not be appropriate in certain circumstances. My therapist may modify, postpone, or decline treatment when necessary for my safety.

If my condition appears to require medical evaluation or treatment outside the scope of massage therapy, I may be advised to seek care from an appropriate healthcare professional.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

H.R.T. understands that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at lease 12 hours notice.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled less than 12 hours notice may be subject to a $30 cancellation fee.

Cancellations made with at least 12 hours notice will not incur a cancellation fee.

NO ACCESS / NO-SHOW

An appointment is considered a no-show when the client is not at the agreed upon location or is not available for their scheduled appointment and cannot be reached.

No-show appointments will be subject to a $30 no-show fee.

Because H.R.T. is a mobile service, the therapist will wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time and will attempt to contact the client during this time.

If the client cannot be reached or access to the treatment location cannot be provided within the 15 minute waiting period, the appointment may be considered a no-show and a $30 no-show fee will apply.

H.R.T. may leave before the 15 minute waiting period if there is a safely concern or if the treatment environment is determined to be inappropriate for professional massage therapy.

LATE ARRIVAL

Please be ready and available at your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive late, your session may still end at the originally scheduled time so that H.R.T. can maintain its schedule. The full appointment price will remain due.

INCORRECT OR CHANGED ADDRESS

Clients are responsible for providing an accurate treatment address when booking. If H.R.T. arrives at the provided address and the location is incorrect, significantly different from the information provided, or has been changed without prior communication, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the $30 cancellation/no-show fee may apply.

EMERGENCIES

H.R.T. understands that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur. Cancellation and no-show fees may be waived at the therapist's discretion when circumstances warrant an exception.

TREATMENT ENVIRONMENT

H.R.T. provides professional massage therapy at client-selected locations. Clients are responsible for providing a clean, private, and appropriate environment for treatment.

The treatment area must provide sufficient space for safe setup and movement around the massage table and should be reasonably free of hazards or excessive clutter.

PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT

H.R.T. is a professional massage therapy service. The treatment environment must remain appropriate for professional bodywork for the duration of the appointment.

SAFETY

H.R.T. reserves the right to decline or discontinue an appointment if the therapist determines that the environment or circumstances present a safety concern or prevent the session from being performed safely and professionally.

OTHER PEOPLE

For the privacy and comfort of both the client and therapist, additional individuals should not be present in the treatment area unless previously discussed and approved by H.R.T.

A parent or legal guardian may be present for a minor's appointment when appropriate.

PETS

Pets should be secured away from the treatment area for the duration of the appointment unless otherwise discussed with H.R.T. This helps maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment.

ALCOHOL / IMPAIRMENT

H.R.T. will not provide massage therapy to a client who appears to be significantly impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs, or another substance that may affect their ability to provide informed consent or safely participate in treatment.

If treatment cannot safely be provided, the appointment may be discontinued and may be subject to the applicable cancellation/no-show policy.

PERSONAL SAFETY

H.R.T. reserves the right to decline, discontinue, or leave an appointment at any time if the therapist feels unsafe or if professional boundaries are not being respected.

CLIENT IDENTITY VERIFICATION

For the safety of both clients and therapists, H.R.T. requires identity verification for new mobile clients prior to their first appointment. A valid government-issued photo ID may be requested to verify the client's identity and the information provided during booking.

H.R.T. reserves the right to decline or cancel an appointment if identity cannot be reasonably verified.

PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT

H.R.T. — Hope's Restoration Therapy is a professional massage therapy practice. All sessions are strictly therapeutic and professional in nature.

Clients are expected to communicate and interact with the therapist respectfully throughout the appointment.

SEXUAL CONDUCT & COMMENTS

H.R.T. maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for sexual behavior, sexual comments, advances, requests, or inappropriate physical contact toward the therapist.

Any behavior that makes the therapist uncomfortable or violates professional boundaries will result in the immediate termination of the session.

DRAPING & BOUNDARIES

Clients are expected to respect all established draping and treatment boundaries. Requests to massage areas outside H.R.T.'s established treatment boundaries will not be accommodated.

TERMINATION OF SESSION

H.R.T. reserves the right to immediately terminate a session if a client engages in inappropriate, threatening, harassing, sexual, or otherwise unsafe behavior.

If a session is terminated due to inappropriate client conduct, no refund will be provided and the full scheduled service price may remain due.

H.R.T. also reserves the right to decline future appointments.

RESPECT & COMMUNICATION

Clients are encouraged to communicate openly regarding pressure, comfort, positioning, and treatment preferences. Respectful communication helps create a safe and effective treatment experience for both the client and therapist.

NO RECORDING WITHOUT CONSENT

Photography, video recording, or audio recording of the therapist during an appointment is not permitted without the therapist's prior consent.

PAYMENT

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

H.R.T. accepts the payment methods made available through the booking and payment system. Clients are responsible for ensuring that payment information provided is accurate and current.

DEPOSITS / CARD ON FILE

A valid payment method may be required to secure an appointment. When applicable, payment information may be used to collect approved cancellation, no-show, or other applicable fees in accordance with H.R.T.'s policies.

REFUNDS

Payments for completed massage therapy sessions are non-refundable.

If you have concerns about your experience or believe an error was made in processing your payment, please contact H.R.T. so the situation can be reviewed.

PRICE CHANGES

H.R.T. reserves the right to change service pricing with advance notice. Pricing applicable to an appointment is the price displayed at the time the appointment is booked.
